People are starting to get out on foot. Mainly on Manthey's Bay and the Schultz's Bay, Battle Point area. Running around 4 inches out from my area.

I want to get out on Moon in Brandon but its pretty much froze over or not fishable on that lake.  Was hoping to head up on New years but we'll see if its doable.

Highs below freezing predicted for this weekend, including lows in the single digits Sunday night, in southern Minnesota! :D

Followed by the possibility of 3-5" of snow on Tuesday, according to one forecast. :mad:

If you like ice-fishing, that could be as bad as continued highs in the forties. Well-insulated ice does not get thicker, even if the air on the other side of that blanket of snow is well below freezing.

I think I'll take up Dungeons and Dragons for a hobby this winter. :angry:
