pushbutton Posted October 10, 2015 Share Posted October 10, 2015 Kind of. Probably an elm oyster......dont think i have ever seen anything else grow out of a box elder knot. They don't have the fragrance of a "true" oyster.....smell really earthy, gills are not decurrent, and stem is usually off set. Tastes good enough though.
