Leaf Days at Maplewood State Park the next two weekends.  

I will have a display talking about fishing and edibles in the park from 10:00 to 1:00.  At 1:00, 2:00, & 3:00 I will be giving a photo seminar on Saturday, the 26th.  

The fall colors are starting to pop and the weather sounds great for the weekend.

Lots of other things planned for all ages including hay rides, toy making, guided hikes, and food will be available.  All events are at the Josh Hanson Memorial Shelter.

I've always wanted to see that park, maybe next weekend we'll make the trip.

It's a beautiful park! From last fall at Maplewood. Make the trip its worth it! My folks live about 20 miles from there so I take it for granted. Fun all year round!

Very nice last weekend, but it will be closer to peak this coming weekend and if the winds stay reasonable, the following week could be very good also.

A few of the ladies from the Detroit Lakes Photo Group will be leading a photo walk on Sunday at 1:00.  They can be very helpful.
