Roadside Counts

They are supposed to be out today. Doesn't sound like they will be as good as everybody was thinking but they keep getting better every year and that's a start. Sounds like SD is going to have ridiculous amounts of birds from their counts. Wish I could afford to go there.

jeffy, if you like pheasant hunting and have never been to SoDak, you just have to do it, at least once. How many times have you seen 40, 70, or a 100 birds 'waving' out of a piece of cover in Minnesota? Just do it. $105 for a 5 day licence, some money for a motel and food and gas, all for 5 days of hunting pheasants and drinking beer and talking smart. It doesn't get any better than that!!
