Are there any types of software programs that will enable you to save waypoints and such on the computer? I have looked at the Navionics Webapp some but I wasn't able to save a waypoint, or at least I wasn't able to figure it out.

Are you looking for software that will also show detailed mapping like the Navionics app you referenced?

Then there are a couple for sure that I am aware of:

Lowrance Insight Genesis and Contour Elite. Dr Sonar has something too, but I cannot recall the name.

I have read somewhere that if you purchase a Lowrance Lake Insight HD chip, you get Insight Genesis free for a year. That is a pretty sweet deal.

Otherwise if you just want to see your waypoints on a "map" then you should be able to enter them into Google Earth, but I don't know of a way to upload them in mass.

Yea I am looking into detailed mapping such as Navionics. I have a Lowrance Insight chip so I will give that a shot. Thanks!
