Big marine bass

Hey guys,  I fished big marine lake the other day for the first time and caught lots of fish,  but the biggest ones I could catch were around 2.5 pounds. Anybody ever catch big bass out there or is about the biggest that are in the lake? Any tips for the lake would also be appreciated!

I'll tell you....after my tournament Sunday ha. 

You wouldn't also happen to be in the GHBT, would you?

BM used to be a big bass fishery. Still has nice ones but you really have to work for them. Had a tournament there about 6 years ago in which 19lbs won it... Past few years usually 13lbs takes it.

That's big marine for ya. Good for action but not for big fish. Sure it has some big fish swimming around but the majority are less than 14".
