Am I a bird-whisperer or what?

So I am driving to work this morning minding my own business. I notice a Bald Eagle getting chased by a few crows. Inside I chuckle thinking how dumb those Crows are because if the Eagle wanted to, he could tear them apart. No sooner did the smile come across my face and the Eagle was dive bombing the road. I thought "OH $HxT"! I slam on the brakes and come to nearly a complete stop when the bird finally notices me about 20 feet in front of me and 5 feet above the road and flares off. Well, there was a tasty freshly killed rabbit on the road. He better look for traffic next time!

At that distance those birds are dang BIG! :-)

I get to work and just turn my truck off, both windows rolled down and a dang goldfinch flies in my passenger window and sits on the dash! What the heck? Sees me then flies back out the window.
