Waterproofing Rain Gear Bibs

I have a pair rain gear bibs that I've had for the last 12-15 years. They used to be great, but now I get pretty wet in a good rain. Does spraying them with a waterproofing spray like ReviveX or Nikwax work?

I've had good luck with ReviveX. My rain gear and Ice Armor get pretty nasty over a year or two of use. I use the wash to clean and then apply the waterproofing. Made my rain bibs like new.

The stuff works great on my carhart set. I would think it would be better on rain gear
