JSK76
Just read Otter will be coming out with some new stuff for next winter. It sound like they have a new tent skin called Thermal-tec and all houses will now be thermal. Also they came out with a hub style house finally too! Also a new lightweight one man house is coming out. Since they already have a one man I can only hope Otter is coming out with their own version of the Shapplle Bay Runner, Finger crossed! CaptainMusky
Im most interested in the one-man shelter. Hopefully they built one that flips similar to competitive one man shelters. That is what I am looking for.
Mr.Seaguar
I got xt1200 one man at the end of the season and I love it. I don't know what they are going to improve on. I have a T600 wild series from a few years ago and it is better than products from other manufacturers. Its like they are in front and pulling away from the pack. CaptainMusky
For a one many shack it is nice to not have to extend the poles. Having the house flip over the length of the sled pretty much eliminates the need to extend poles. No question Otter makes the best sled and I think they made a bit step forward with the canvas last year and already had the best poles in the business.I have been clamoring for a one-man built the right way from Otter for years. If they build it, I will buy one.
Mr.Seaguar
I prefer a smaller footprint in the garage. The poles slide easily, its not an issue to me.
CaptainMusky
Sliding poles or not do not change footprint it's the size of the sled that matters.
