The Minnesota Muske Expo tackle swap is Saturday April 11th from 7 to ? PM at the Shamrock Room of historic O'Gara's, corner of Selby and Snelling (six blocks west of the Expo). Free parking in the Associated Bank lot one block north of O'Gara's. Don't pay the lot guard-he is just there to make you feel secure. The lot you used last year is now being built upon. There are other lots nearby, like the Family tree Clinic lot one block south and one block west of O'Gara's. Bring anything-stay as long as you want. O'Gara's has good reasonably priced food.

O'Gara's is a popular hangout for the local college crowd. It is also a hangout during the Minnesota Muskie Expo, with about 200 people at O'Gara's last year. There are lots of TVs if your favorite team is playing. Come hang out and talk muskie.

Lure swap is free, as always. If you stay for the music , there will be no cover this year. That is because O'Gara's has switched to a new DJ format. Busloads of college kids come to the big "Shanty" (formery O'Gara's Garage) about 10:30 PM. You will be impressed with the crowd.

If you are in Twin Cities Friday the 10th, there is excellent entertainment: Hairball (70's 80's rock extravaganza-bring your earplugs if you are over 60) at Medina, and The Blackberry Brandy Boys (70s Country Rock - Byrd's covers etc) with special guests The Cactus Blossoms (Internationally Famous-think Everly Brothers) at Icehouse 25th and Nicollet Ave. I'll be at the Icehouse.
