Propane box/cover - Aluminum Diamond Plated

I have the plastic one that covers my two thirty pound tanks, I used to think the same think, hard to get off, but last time I swapped out and filled a tank, when I put the tank back on I adjusted it in a little, the tanks are a tad closer together, the cover now fits looser, comes right off. I pulled it off the other night to check the fill level in my tanks, it was -2 out and it slid right off. Almost worried about it coming off down the road...

My last house had one and I loved it. It was a simple open, switch lever/tank and close. Also had a pad lock too. My fingers don't work well in minus temps + wind chills and keeping track of the little screw knobs is a challenge.

Hmm? Someone has to know a person who make/sell these.

I've been curious too because I have 2-40#'rs that nobody makes even a rigid plastic cover for so improvising/designing is in my future also. A sheet metal or floor tread box with POR 15 might be an option also, and avoids the headache of maintaining the diamond plate.

Thanks. I was just wondering what applications there are for steel boxes that might work. It seems the State has some pretty elaborate covers on things now days, or electricians. Railroad shop? Lockers? Paint cabinet?
