Shotgun Saddle Mount for Remington 870 (12 & 20 Gauge w/serial X/N)

thinking of putting on on my 20 ga 870 xpress. it says w/serial X/N...

does that mean X thru N or just X and N ??

my serial # ends in U. maybe 15 years old.

the b square looks maybe an inch longer

i wonder if I would get a black eye if I put my 3 x 9 riflescope on the 20 ga.

Never put a rifle scope on a shotgun. I learned the hard way. Twice!

put the scope on but only 3 inches of clearance so I ordered a used shotgun scope.
