What's your soft plastic preference?

I've been using spoons, rattles, and swooping raps with shiners the last couple years and i feel like im being a little too aggressive.

Im thinking about toning it down a little with trigger X walleye plastics with a simple jig setup. Any luck with plastics?

I've caught a pile of walleyes on power and gulp minnows on a horizontal jighead. Sometimes just twitched and other times fished more aggressively. At times the scented plastics shine over live bait or other artificials. I've even caught fish deadsticking them.

Plastics are my go to baits. The problem can be what they want. Sometimes it's twister tails, paddle tails, minnows, even worms. All fished on jigs. The weight depends on water conditions, and how I want to fish it.

Good to hear. What size jig's you running with and what size plastics. I was probably going to put the 3" in a glow pug bug.
