Opinions on hub style portables?

I have a clam 5600 that is now 10 years old and im considering buying a new portable this year. It looks like the hub style is getting very popular and have pretty good prices, anyone have an opinion on them, are they worth the money? I'm looking at around a 6 by 6 foot house in the 200-300 dollar range, what is my best option? Not sure if I want to buy another suit case style or a hub, I do know that I don't want a flip over style, I have fished in a couple of them and don't really like them. Thanks for any advice.

I have an Eskimo Ice Cube 5x5 hub and I love it! Might_B_A_Pike makes a good point: Hubs don't have floors.

When there's not much snow on the ice, I throw down a piece of outdoor carpeting to keep my feet dry(er). I'm making a suitcase style floor for it right now to make it easier to move once setup.

That's the other drawback, it's a PITA to move by yourself because you have to move all your stuff too. But at least hubs are the lightest option of the bunch too!

Fished out of a quick fish 3 yesterday for about 8 hrs. It was my first time fishing out of one at all even though I bought one last week . Sets up fast and was nice having the room to stand if you need to and have gear . That is a 6x6 I bought 8'x8' thermal. Get one that is thermal.

If you have ruled out a flip over style hub is your best option, I recommend anything thermal. if you miss the floor of the suitcase style you can pick up some of those foam pads the go together like a puzzle.

I agree. Thermal is the way to go!
