Pics from my house

I like pics that others put up so here are some of mine. I really, really like my house and the open floor plan. No desire to ever waste space with a bathroom for me. Certainly not for everyone, but totally for me. House is 8x16+3ft V. I built it from the inside out. Herculiner the trailer, plywood floor, cut holes out and carpet, pre assemble and panel walls and then stand up, roof rafters and ceiling paneling, cabinets/bunks/furnace, wire, then take to spray foam guy, then plywood roof, rubber roof, siding and diamond plate, done.

Sorry for the pic quality

New chairs I convinced my brother to buy. $85 a piece from amazon, but they are super comfortable, and never seen too many rocking lawn chairs.

Underneath the main bunk I have a spare for everything. Put a bunch of it in the old tackle box. Also have card table, poker chips, charcoal, fish cleaning boards, and my slippers.

My little secret. This was the 8th hole in the house. It is on the end of the main bunk way at the back of the house. I have used it on rare occasion, but I found that it works awesome to store your case of beer right on top of the hole. Dont need to set them outside or anything. Just set the whole case(s) right on top of it and they are perfect. Does work for milk or pop if that's your thing.

The rod holders I installed on the ceiling today. Installed two sets of these. Berkley. Think they were $8 at FF. Rods feel very secure in them. Threw away the screws provided and used some 1.5" drywall screws. You can also see in the background where the spray foam sucked my paneling up between the rafters on that side. Did not do that on the other side of the house.

Third bunk up. Takes less then two seconds to get it down. We also have a scoreboard underneath from some of the trips taken.

Third bunk down. My cat will kill your dog.

View from the bottom bunk. Yes, the one with the fairy flowers and no sheet on it right now. Also has the storage underneath. There will soon be a new LED TV sitting where the adult stuff is.

Rattle reels. If you noticed I have different types of rattle reels set up for different sides of the house. Sure helps at night when you go to sleep, especially on the nights you had lots of fun. Also have one minnow left from last year on the hook for good luck.

The ultimate rattle reel lure. This little doodle bug caught more fish than the 12 apostles combined. Unfortunately the hook snapped off last year, but I keep it around for good luck.

Some other random pics. Like my new rug, the new paneling I installed today (clear coat like the rest tomorrow), my V-front where the forced air blows out across the floor by my door, and the fish measuring trough.

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
