Best around is Jeff McHugh in Plainview, MN.

A World Champion but still very reasonably priced. (less than $600 for a full strut)

Why anyone would pay more or go anywhere else is beyond me.

no one from the spring and my taxi guy passed away unexpectedly this fall. Sad and my bird was the last of my worries I did not want to bother the family. Now I have been working with them but not sure were to bring now.

I will second Jeff McHugh in Plainview (actually lives in Beaver, MN). He has mounted a Merriam, a Rio and an Eastern for me and these things look alive. Incredible job! He will do my Osceola when I go get me one!!!

I have to give a plug for my friend Joe Marshall at Northern Woods Taxidermy in Baxter. He's done some big name guys stuff and is a good guy.

As long as we're giving some plugs, I want to give a nod to Jeremy Gare in Faribault. He's done two beautiful mounts for me including a natural mount with a barnwood pedestal that is one-of-a-kind and a full strut mount on a floor level base. He does excellent work.

Do you have any pictures? After this week of bow hunting WI i'm going to do more research and calls. THis site is great to get feedback of what is out there when you don't have too much time to look like you want.

Thanks engfish, Those look great I was trying to find a site for him yesterday but nothing came up. The 2nd one is what I'm thing about with a base style like that.
