Courthouse pond fishing?

Wondered if anyone knew if it was still legal to fish for trout in the Chaska courthouse pond? I thought fishing there was legal through this Fri. The 31st, but someone told me it was closed. Also, anybody know when the last load of trout was to be dumped in tHere this fall? Always thought it

Was this week or at least sometime in Oct. Any info would be appreciated.

Did manage to get down to the pond for about 1.5 hrs. yesterday afternoon. Beautiful day, despite cooler temps. Saw one 15-16" rainbow in the shallows when I arrived, but before I was ready to fish. Water was very clear. No trout, but did manage to catch 2 sunfish. The angler closest to me caught a couple nice trout.

Glad I went. Great way to finish the season down there. Only two and a half months to go until "combat fishing" starts up again at the old pond.

I got down there on the 31st as well I think it was. Nice bright day - got the chance to see 3 trout all chasing a small spinner I threw out but none of them would take it. Did manage to catch a couple of small trout on PowerBait. You could see them swimming around (including one fairly big one that swam by). Like another poster said, the water was very clear. Should be fun ice fishing there.
