walleye34
I assume you mean covers for the wheel wells? I saw them for $200 which I thought was rather spendy so I took 1/8" hardboard and cut it to fit, painted it black to match my house. Then I took some small aluminum channel to hold it in place. total cost about $25..banking snow around the wheel wells is a pain and hopefully this solves the problem. Greenhornet84
Was looking at the clarkfield outdoors HSOforum (from the jack knife sofa thread.)/and they had some on there.
jsr426hemi
I found a place that sells heavy duty tarp material. My mother is a seamstress and she sewed the edges and I put the snaps on and screwed snaps around the wheel wells. They worked well to keep the snow out. I do have some snaps to replace that broke during last ice season.
hunter76
I did the same thing.
tisosy11
Does this help, better than banking? I am able to remove my strap assembly completely so it doesn't freeze up and just don't see how the fabric would keep the wind down where there is no buttons... Hoey
LOOKING TO BUY A SET FOR MY WHEEL HOUSE, ANY HELP OU THERE, THANKS I had Canvas Craft custom make some for my unit. Had the quarter twist fastners around the wheel well perimeter. Across the bottom I had them sew in a length-wise pocket that I ran a fiberglass garden stake/post through to keep it taught. They worked well. A little spendy though.
hunter76
We made the bottom around 14 inches longer so we could still put snow on it. If there is no snow, we will just find something heavy to put on it, like our spare tire. The way the weather is looking, we will be finding out shortly if its going to work. hunter76
Maybe you could cut a slot in it??? Reinforce it though so it doesn't fray away.
