Muck Arctic Pro vs Ice Armor sub zero

My feet get horribly cold when I sit still and the only boot that has even came close to working for me is the Preditor Extreme but they are stiff and take some time to put on and take off. I don't expect a mud boot to be as warm as my Preditor Extremes but looking for something a bit more convenient to put on and off. My fishing buddy's started wearing Mucks and don't have any complaints but they don't have problems with there feet getting cold in general. I guess I'm looking for what boot would be the warmest of the two. I have a pair of Alpha 1500gm LaCrosse that I use for bow hunting, would the Mucks or IA be much warmer?

I wasn't sure of the sub zeros at first but I was talked into trying a pair. let's just say I am glad I took the chance. they are great boots. I didn't intentionally do it but last year I was walking along right after a snow fall and there was a 10 inch hole that was skimmed over and the snow hid it from sight, needless to say my foot and boot found the hole and my leg went in up to my knee. I then pull my foot out of the hole and slip the boot off and dump out the water (not much got it but enough to get a wet sock) and then put the boot back on and proceeded to set up and fish for the day even with the wet foot. long story short even thou my foot was wet it was warm inside the sub zero boot. the one thing that makes a difference no matter what brand boot you wear is the use of a good wicking sock and a wool sock( IE : Smart wool or a merino wool sock). no matter how good your boots are if you wear cotton socks you will get cold feet. the old saying is that cotton kills.
