cool, I used a ND filter on the lens and held another in front of that. along with 1/4000 sec, ISO 100 and F16. That sun is bright ! !

Nice Pic man.

which ND's were you using? That's the route I was going to go with yesterday but didn't have a chance to test it out...

You may want to head the following advice during the next eclipse. This is from a number of different sources.

Eclipse or not, always use a proper filter when observing or photographing the sun. Regular sunglasses and photographic polarizing or neutral-density (ND) filters are not safe for use on the sun.

And the reason for that it is not safe for visual observation is because they pass IR radiation, which can permanently damage your eyes. Worst part of that is you don't even know its happening.
