How many of you have still taken a deer after being winded.

I've taken a few on the down wind side and have had a lot of does that I could have taken shots at too. Last Sunday I had two does down wind of me and they could not find me but knew some thing was up , I could have had shots as close as 16 yards . They finally turned around after 20 min. of foot stomping and starring up wind

Well, usually I just try and catch my breather before making the shot!

Yu shouldnt be outa breather if yiu bow hunting. I guesseyou could lose you breather from draging a deer.

i shiulda been more clear. Were playing the wind o a trail right now, windnin our face over looki g the trail. One camenout behind us and winded us. I dont do alot of bow hunt and am gradualy getting back into it. But when one sounds the alarmits kinda dissapointing to halle. I know its not over wt that point .

Had one bust me behind me and so I grunted a few times and a 140 inch 10 came in from the front of me. Made a scrape and shot at 5 yards (Halloween weekend). So it's not over always.
