JigginIsLife
easiest question on the forum, always on the opposite side of the door, if your door is on the passenger side of the house put the heater on the driver side. TOns ofreasons why this make sense if you dont have a forced air heater. First the heat has to travel farther to escape, second if you place the house with the door away from the prevailing winds (typically n-nw) then the heater will be on the n-nw side of the house and the air that does travel through your house from the wind will move the hot air away from the heater through the rest of the house. Hawg
I don't think it make any difference at all.
ClownColor
Away from your boots! I have two locations for mine...one low when fishing with 2 people and one high when the house is full so no one burns their pants/boots. But i have a smaller house. Boar
Centraly located on the opposite wall of the door. If possible
38bill
I mounted my Empire DV on the same side as the door because I wanted to be able to park with both the vent and the door on the down wind side. I run a 12V wall mount fan so it pushes the heat away from the door.
Hawg
38Bill-exactly right. That's how you set a fish house.
