Im going to be lookin for a new spinning rod in the near future and wondering what kind to get. My two top choices are All-star rods and fenwick. My second choice would be a st.croix. Which one should i choose for around 100 bucks??

Hi, All Star rods are good although I don't fish wit them. I always had problems with the tips breaking off the Fenwicks so I don't use them any more either. I am a St. Croix guy and always will be. I love my St. Croix rods and have yet to have one fail one me.

Just my 2 cents...worth probably only 1 anyway.

Without question I would choose St. Croix rods. I have owned Fenwicks in the past and believe that the St. Croix will outperform them. St.Croix rods are very durable and have excellent feel.

I have both Premiers and Avids. To tell you the truth I can't really tell the difference when I am fishing. The Avids are a little bit lighter but for the difference in price I would just stick with a Premier. Can't go wrong with a St. Croix in my opinion.

Both the Premier and Avids are top notch rods. I do feel the Avids a pretty good step up from the Premier. Take a look at them both side by side and see which you prefer. Just don't pick up the Legend Elite... wink.gif
