Chev_trucks501
Hi there, GULP is the newest thing to hit the market. Making it's first appearances early last spring. I can tell you that it is definately not as durable as most other soft plactics. I tested a few of the 7" Minnow Worms and had a few sunnies take the tails right off. As far as scent goes though it does release A LOT of scent into the water. According to a lot of the tackle reps, GULP is one of the fastest things selling this spring. Berkley is planning on running out this summer, stating they will not be able to keep up with demand. As for me, I will be sticking to regular plastics this summer because I like to strech'em. (Plus GULP is expensive) Good Luck Chev
panolo
I have heard and found out basically the same as Chev stated. I did not notice a huge difference in bites with the gulp bait that I used. I did notice that they were not as strong but according to the berkeley rep I talked too they were going to try and improve that.
tinski
I like to use a lot of plastic worms and lizards in the summer. I was going to do the annual spring stock up this week and wondering if anyone has tried any of the GULP products yet? If so, what do you think of them compared to other soft plastics? Thanks for your thoughts,Tinski[This message has been edited by tinski (edited 04-20-2004).]
tinski
Thanks for the info guys. I think I'll stick mainly to the powerbait for now and just try 1 package of the gulp.
