chevy trailblazer 4x4

I have an 02 chevy trailbalzer. I have not used the 4x4 for quite a while so not sure how long it has not worked, but anyways I tried it last night and it does not appear to be working. When switching the truck to AWD or 4HI or 4LO I can hear the front end switching into gear but it does not engage. Is there something simple I could look for or do I need to see a professional. I looked onlne and someone mentioned resetting a fuse ATCM for 30 seconds. Tried that but still not engaging???

The first thing I would do is get all four wheels off the ground and then engage four wheel drive to see if the front wheels are actually engaging.

Maybe one of your automatic hubs is not locking in, check both of them to see if they are engaged/

I'd try pulling the fuse and see if that fixes it. Best place to search for info on that vehicle is Trailvoy.
