Just so yous fellas know, I'm prolly the bigggest Godzilla fan...........ever. Heck, my kids grew up getting Christmas gifts from the king of the monsters and they all thought we went to high school together.

The missus and I were heading out to see this one on opening day when my son in law called to say our daughter was in labor. That put the kabosh on the opener thing. Later, one thing led to another and blah blah blah and I finally got to see the much anticipated movie last night.

Whadda yous guys think? I was disappointed. Too much plot and not enough Godzilla kicking butt.

As someone who used to get dropped off at the Saturday Godzilla vs whomever matinees by mom back in the 70's, I was looking forward to seeing this, still am (haven't seen it yet). Rumor has it online that this movie is the setup for some sequels with a lot more action. Where more of Godzilla will be seen in all his glory.

So you might get your wish within the next couple of years Eric.

Weak plot, not enough action. It shouldn't be that hard to make a good Godzilla movie!
