Fishing has No Boundaries in Brainerd This weekend! Sylvan Lake

Hey I have volunteered to be a boat captain this Saturday for Fishing with no boundaries. We are fishing on Sylvan lake in Pillager. I have never fished the lake and want to get the people that are with me some action. I am kind of thinking starting with some panfish, then move onto some bigger fish if we catch some panfish.

Can someone provide me with some hints about what I should be looking for and what I might use to catch them? I am not looking for exact locations but I am doing this for people that are less fortunate than ourselves. This is probably the only time these people get to go out and do what most of us enjoy very often throughout the year.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for all your help,

Mike

The person at Camp that you'll be dealing with is Bob Slaybough, nobody knows the lake better and he'll tell anything you want to know. That's a great cause, I support that one also.

South end in the deeper areas for bass and pike, look for the cabbage weeds and throw jig worms into them/edges. Easy for them to cast and reel in and should have some steady action on bass with the occasional pike.
