I always made sure I had a big cooler full of the customary beverages on ice. Also, BBQ'd chicken drumsticks, sliced cucumbers and onions in a sour cream sauce, spicy dill pickles, and a big can of peanuts!

Everything else is just academic. wink

Beware of the squach. Been lots of sightings on the MN at night.

Kidding aside.

Headlamp, lots of bait, bugspray, and only bring company that will enjoy it. Jingle bells if'n you plan on getting any sleep.

Hard to beat a quiet night on the MN River.

I sleep in a zero gravity chair or just laying on the deck of the boat. Bring warmer clothes than you think you need so you can be comfy. Bring a camera so you can show us the big one!
