FL-12

I have a friend thinking about the FL-12, we use 8 & 18's but have not seen or heardmuch about the 12. Any thoughts out there to help him, thanks.

Just like the FL-8 but comes with the flat screen and built-in low power mode. Does not come with Zoom feature like the 18. If your fishing in the weeds a lot then I would choose the 12 over an 18 but if you friend is a walleye person then I would go with an 18 for the zoom.

Lawrence is spot on. I personally run a FL 12 and a FL-22. the 12 is a nice basic flat screen version of the 8. another good option if you like the flat screen would be to look at the FL-20. the 20 would give you the addition of 6 foot and 12 foot zoom and a day and night mode. I am going to be adding a 20 to my line up of equipment this year.
