The moon.

Going to be full tomorrow.

The fishing is going to be incredible.

Plan on fishing 7pm to 2, 3 maybe 4 or 5am.

The bass are on the deep edge and should be high in the water or moving onto the flat to prowl and bask in the moon light.

I just hope the clouds clear out some after the rain in the morning.

Was an unreal night of fishing.

No huge fish biggest was 18.5"

Caught fish on a Northstar Custom Baits Bladed Jig, a Buzzbait and a spinnerbait.

Caught fish in water as shallow as 2 feet.

Dead calm and a gorgeous moon.

Do the bugs settle down after an hour or so? That's the only thing holding me back from trying this.

I use a thermo cell in the boat and put it in the council, really have no issues with bugs while I have it running in the boat.

I start it about 1 hour before dark and pretty much fish bug free until 2-3 or whenever I am done.

Don't have to stink yourself up with bug juice.

Beat them up again last night. Clear and dead calm.

Fished from 8pm until 6am on 2 different lakes.

17 hours of fishing in 2 nights.

135 Largemouth, 3 Pike and 4 fouled hooked Bluegills.

4 hour power nap this morning and now it is Miller Time.
