Went out last Sat to catch a few Walleye and it was just calm and pee soup with fog, good thing for GPS. eek

This guy came swimming out of the fog and did a full circle around the boat and just would not leave. smile

I've had them hang around and dive under the boat and go after live bait! Fun to watch, but a pain when you are fishing!

Plus 1+ it always makes me worry I'm going to end up with a pretty peeedoff bird to deal with. eek

I've seen loons pick up sucker minnows under a bobber twice now in the past few years. It can definitely happen. This year we have a pair in breeding plumage on Lake Calhoun and maybe another on Harriet right in the Metro.
