South Carolina charter

I'm vacationing with my family late June/early July in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. I've booked an "in shore" charter for just me and some of my family. It basically entails fishing the ocean close to shore in shallow water. Has anybody ever done this and what did you think? It looks like fun to me.

Sure. although not in Carolina. Inshore usually means more bites/action than offshore fishing (the better term than "deep sea"). Typically smaller fish inshore, obviously, with the exception of sharks.

Personally, I like offshore better, I'd sooner pull on one big fish and take my chances with hanging a skunk, but that's just me. Inshore tends to be less expensive as well. Have a great trip:)

I just got back from North Carolina and we went out deep sea fishing and that was fun... The ride out and in however, was not very fun 2.5 hrs just to get out there...We ended up landing 5 mahi mahis...Really cool seeing them colorful fish come up...
