You can't go wrong with any of the gulp products, I haven't fished live bait in open water for years but when the conditions call for live bait just throw on a gulp minnow/ leech/ crawler and your good to go. Me and my grandpa caught over 30 walleyes 2 weekends ago for the Wisconsin opener fishing a jig head and 3" gulp minnow. I don't buy the gulp in the hard plastic tubs in liquid, too expensive for me, I just buy the regular $5 packs.

I am with dooley 87. I tried it last year and I did not buy live bait the rest of the year either. I have never tried the leeches but should. I buy the tubs in there juice sometimes thou... like that also. I hand pick night crawlers at home and thats all the live bait I use.... The power bait stuff works well also. along with inpulse

my mille lacs wallys usually kept on a gulp leech, i have actually started stockpiling the stuff a little bit (finding sales) to have a nice little arsenal just like crank baits, all the above are in my arsenal. and when all else fails, try a gulp green pumpkin seed crawler, couple of friends tipped me onto those and amazingly enough they have produced when all else has failed, especially on the mississippi. i do buy a liquid jar once in a while of the bait that works and refresh dried up ones in that as well.
