This is one blackbird I enjoy. Actually, I love the sound he makes and really like all the sounds that come from a slough. It's nice to just sit there and listen to all the sounds of nature instead of traffic on the roads.

True. A few springs ago Mrs. Cheviot couldn't believe a bird could make a noise like they do. She thought it was something dying! Until the yellow-headed blackbird flew out from behind the barn. smile
