BobT
I have a Weber Performance charcoal grill that uses an LP charcoal starter. It is designed so I can screw on 1# tanks but I got this crazy idea that instead of monkeying around with 1# tanks all the time, I'd get an adapter hose and use one of my 4# tanks instead. This way I'm not dumping 1 pounders in the landfill every year. I suspect that the size of the orifice that attaches to the 1# tanks serves as the fuel flow regulator. Can anyone confirm this for me? Do I need another regulator to control the fuel flow rate? I'm just about done using the last of my 1# tanks and thought I'd try to research this before I switch to the adapter hose. CAMAN
It doesn't have an on/off knob? That should be your regulator, and getting a hose with the proper fittings on each end should be all you need.
