I found a couple very small ramps this weekend, hoping to come back in a couple weeks to harvest them. I am loving the warmup we are seeing (versus the snow)

Nice! I was out looking for Morels today and struck out. I tried 4 different (new) places. I'm hoping it's still a bit early vs. me being a bad shroom hunter! I did find a few Pheasant Back mushrooms about fist sized or smaller. I didn't harvest - but if I strike out on morels next week, a few small ones might be my consolation prize. I know some people have been finding morels...but I don't think it's prime time yet (at least by me). Rain tomorrow followed by almost 80 on Tuesday should get things going though.

Nice ramps. They're still up around here, but it looks like the greens are *starting* to die back a little. I didn't find a single good fiddlehead today, either.

Very nice looking ramps. See for me the ramps aren't even mature yet. The bulbs are still only as big around as a pencil if I'm lucky. As for fiddleheads I just discovered some. How high are the ones you cut?
