Couple Questions on things.

1. Planer boards. i have the opti tackle boards with tell flags. when you have the front clip and back clip, is one of them suppose to release the line so you don't fight the board when bringing in a fish after the flag and board pull back? I plan on using 12lb mono.

2. dipsy divers. i plan to run 30lb power pro braid to dipsy then a 3in Mack's snubber then about 4-6ft of 12lb mono for walleye......sound about right?

3. what length/action should planer board poles and dipsy poles have? i was thinking 7ft MH ugly sticks with okuma magda pro 20dx line counters with 12lb mono on the planer boards. Then on the dipsy poles. 0kuma 20dx magda pro line counters with okuma 8'6" rods never said action just dipsy/mooching rod.

1. the front clip is the one you want to release and thats set by how far in the release you put the line ,,,using mono you may have to experiment to get it the way you want it to trip

2. your dipsy set up is fine

3. your planer rods should have a med action with a soft tip to deal with waves and the dipsy rods do say dipsy/mooching so your good there also ,,,the drags on the dipsy rod will probably be your biggest concern
