Expedition Power Steering PUmp

Recommended Posts

Get the proper tool to pull of the pulley and replace it. CLEAN the inside of the pulley with a scotch pad (the green kitchen use kind) VERY well, or you will break your tool and swear up a storm.

You'll need about a quart of Mercon V ATF to fill the system when your done. Fill the reservoir bottle TO THE TOP, start the truck and turn off after a second. Then check the level of fluid, top it off, and repeat. After the second time, may be third, turn the wheel left (engine running) and right to purge more air out of the system. fill the reservoir to the correct level if needed, or remove some fluid if necessary.
