boat seat quick connect?

hi got a bench seat boat and dont want the clamp style holder. i found a base you mount to the bench seat then with a swivel on your boat seat you just slide it in and out. much easier to mount any one use these they work good?

I wouldnt use anything that isnt permanently mounted to the bench.

Get a 3/4" pin style seat base, mount it to the bench (will need to cut a hole, that is easy to do). Then get the matching seat post that attaches to any standard seat. Those together cost about $40 give or take.

You can remove the seat anytime you wish, it even has a little spring in seat post for some (not much, but some) suspension, and you can even get a second base for another bench or another seat, and mix and match. It is the best, most sturdy, way to go. You don't need to put a pin in there, but you can even get a short pin for just a little height when wanted.
