Saw a couple of odd shaped geese on the upper Rainy River yesterday. They where a bit to far away for a good ID so I didnt stop and watch . They where definitely not Canada geese , they where dark in color and about the same size or a bit larger than a loon but had a long goose like neck . Any chance it may have been a brant ?
