Gordie Posted March 28, 2014 Share Posted March 28, 2014 I bought this old 1979 870 wingmaster and went through it as a project gun. I lengthened the forcing cone, back bored the barrel, lengthened the chamber from 2 3/4 to a 3 inch and ported the barrel. I also added a aftermarket composite stock that I Dura-coated along with Dura-coating the receiver and barrel. I built this gun for my son, but when I brought home the next project gun he wanted that one instead. The second gun is a 1956 870 wingmaster that was my grandfathers gun that I restored too. re blued it and refinished the stock I only wish I had a before picture.. ,but here is the after!
