Truck Screen

I have a topper on my truck and would like to sleep in my truck without being disturbed by bugs, mainly mosquitoes. They find the gaps that are open around the tailgate. Does anyone know of some kind of screen enclosure that is made for and/or small enough to fit under a topper (short box).

There are several companies that make attachments that serve as a rain fly and screen tent. Cabelas has one. A cheapo way to go would be to buy some bulk mosquito netting. You could use magnets to hold it on the truck.

Unless you own a new aluminum ford truck then magnets might not work. That is we have done in the past, put 4 studs in the corners and used a mosquito cover over them and hold it with tape and magnets. works good. but bugs will seem to get in from someplace. good luck

I've never seen anything for the inside. I was thinking if you draped something over the exterior you could leave the back window and even the tailgate down on warm night. Also that would get those little buggers further away from you and cut down the noise the make because they will still try to attack even with the netting.

Google search a tailgate dust seal. That should be enough to let you just use the topper

Thanks for your help. I was able to find a product that looks like it will work. Sansbug mosquito tent is totally inclosed and will fit under my topper.
