Jiffy 30 auger loose from gear housing that looks and sounds like it would come apart when running or blow up the gears while in use. It makes a clattering sound when running. It's 20 years old and the motor runs good. I sold this to my brother a few years ago and I told him to tighten the bolts that keep the motor head to the gear housing, and he said someone told him that is ok for the motor to be that way, but I think it's a disaster waiting to happen! Anybody know anything about this?

Nice to finally meet you tonight. Make sure you tell me who you are again next time you come in. I will probably forget.
Let me know when you are dropping in again and I'll make sure we have more of those beverages around!

Good luck.
