Renneberg
Panfish jigs have always worked for me. They seem to really like twisters. All kinds of live bait works well to.I've never fished for rock bass this late in the year so I couldn't tell you where to catch them. I have how ever caught them in the winter when fishing for sunnies. So if you find some sunnies then the rock bass cann't be to far behind.------------------Study to be quite
Steve Foss
We were out whole first week of October on lake north of Bemidji, and the rockies were in the caggabe and long the deep weedline with the sunnies. We use small leeches (yep, still could get them at Newby's on Highway 15 north of town) under slip bobbers, and caught as many rockies as sunnies. Crawlers and minnows work just fine for rockies too, as do the little beetle spins cast and retrieved slowly and Berkley Power Grubs. But with the colder water, I'd go with live bait.
