Snow Fun

Spent last weekend in northern Wisconsin mostly snowmobiling. Just a few shots of the beautiful area up there. Snowmobile heaven, more trails than you can handle, in great shape, lots of snow! Didn't make it to the Lake Superior ice caves but might plan another trip up there just for that before it warms.

1. The stars were brilliant, looking at Orion!

2. Cabin in the woods. The weird purple look was caused by Christmas lights on the deck. Shut them off next time! Used a flashlight for some light painting on the trees.

3. My dog and friends dog whooping it up and enjoying the snow and cold!

4. My dog on the left, they could be brother and sister!

5. Riding one of the many trestle bridges up there.

6. Coming down the trail!

Hi Dan, No.1 really jumps out at you. How long was the shutter speed.

Wayne, my normal starting point for these shots, wide open aperture, ISO 6400 and 25 second exposure. Adjust to taste from there! I normally just change ISO to get the ambient light look I want.
