Fish&Fowl
My dad and I were in SD hunting muleys in Oct. with statewide any deer archery tags. I am moving to SD soon and we want to get out and call some coyotes, will we need to buy the varmint license? We will be using rifles. reddog
Predator license is inclusive with the NR small game license. I don't believe it is included in the NR big game tag. Even if it was, the license expires Jan 31.
carpshooterdeluxe
Species NonresidentCoyote, Red/Gray Fox, Skunk One of the following:Nonresident Predator/Varmint license, orany nonresident hunting license. So your Deer license would allow you to predator hunt through Jan 31. reddog
I stand corrected.. You need to retain the top portion of your big game license to hunt.. carp.. When did NRs become able to hunt Bobcats?
carpshooterdeluxe
Not sure. Got out of the predator hunting game for the most part so I don't pay much attention to that part of the regs any more. I'll see what info I can find.
