Yo-Zuri hybrid line

Anyone use this line? Pros and Cons of it? Thinking of giving some a try this year.

Yes I use is, Chris from Northstar Baits talked me into trying it last year. I have two rods 7' MH action, with 15lb that I use for jigs and T-rigged craw tubes only(deep water stuff, no slop or shallow cover). I liked the line when paired with stiffer rods, a little stretch in my case is a good thing as I tend to set the hook on those baits pretty hard. I do use KVD line conditioner on them also.

I use it all the time and love it. I use 6lb up to 20lb on spinning and casting gear. It's tough and handles well.

I may need to try some of this stuff this season. Guys that use it absolutely swear by it but for some reason I've never tried it.

Wow.....it's really cheap too, 600 yards for $15-$17 depending on the # test. I'll definitely give that a try.

The ultra soft is a better choice for spinning gear than the regular hybrid, but both work well. I like the smoke color for most applications, but the green is good too.

regular hybrid on just about every bait caster except for a rod dedicated to slop, the stuff handles well, is tough, and I have never had an unexpected break with it, and to me that says everything.

Yes it is a copolymer. If i remember correctly it is coated with Fluorocarbon.

It has several individual strands of mono coated with floro then the entire bundle of individual strands is coated with floro as well to form a single strand. Hopefully that makes sense.

From reading about it, I believe it floats or is kinda neutral. Maybe someone with some, can put a piece in the sink and see what happens!
