Swiftswamper
Hornet do you know how far this lake is from waubay?
minnesotathorn
reeetz is considered a trophy lake. you can keep 1 walleye over 24 inches only. the lake has some very nice sized crappies & a decent perch population. it is a lake that is either hot or very cold. you seldom see a limit of perch or crappie, but if you find them they are usually together. the lake can't be more than 5 or 6 miles from Webster. Swiftswamper
Anyone actually fished it?
Squidly
Thanks for posting the TRUE 1 OVER 28" reg for this lake. And yes, I have fished it. Good sized crappie if you can find them and decent perch. Walleye are pretty much catch and release anyway so we usually do not target them. carpshooterdeluxe
The size structure of both the crappie and perch is good, but it can be tough to find them some days. 3 distinct patterns to the lake it seems like; shallow, timber, and deep mud. The deep mud bite tends to produce both crappie and perch right on the bottom in the same schools. Bite was tough last time I was up there, around 2 weeks ago. Pulled a few smallmouth around 18-19" though. Friend of mine was up there last week and did better, but still not quite as good of action as other lakes are producing right now.
