Sitting leg curls or horizontal leg curls...any difference

I see that my gym has a machine were you do leg extensions but with adjustments you can do sitting leg curls for hamstrings. I have always done them laying on my stomach and curling my legs like you would do biceps. Any advantage to doing the sitting verses the laying leg curls?

Not much difference although the seated may offer more isolation and less of a chance to cheat versus lying down. There's always a tendency to lift the butt and use more back when lying but if done properly I really don't see much of an difference in either exercise.
