Been thinking of taking a trip to orlando, florida area and maybe do a one day guided bass fishing trip. When are the better months to be fishing there, February, March, April? Any recommendations on guides?

January and February are the breeding season for bass down here.So it's pretty easy to get a big one off a nest,but their really not actively feeding. March and April are verrry good times as well, with water levels basically at their lowest levels of the year. This is usually the time of 100 fish days.

I don't really know any guides up that way, but if your ever in the Miami area. We have some really good bass fishing in the Everglades too. Have fun!

I'm thinking Peacock bass, a couple big largemouth, snook and maybe a few weakfish for eating while staying there. Any others that could be good table fare. Looking to stay at military bases if possible.

We are staying in Orlando first week of April. Still need to secure a bass guide; I've been in contact with 3 and need to pick one.

Yup....it really happens. It kinda gets boring after a little while. We're usually headed home by noon on days like that.
